hoover dyn8164d/1-80 e03

hi ive been to this hoover w/m and it dosent pick up speed on the spin it just coasts around and then when it gets to 1 min it shows up e03 I realise this is a drain error but the water drains fine, ive just seen another post on here that a earth faults on the heater can bring up this error, could this also affect the spin??

Schoolboy error 🙁 I was looking for a drain fault it totally threw me off the scent of a earth fault, cheers Martin

Had the same fault last week. Was the heating element.
