Hoover DYN9144 D3X error E03 & E16

Had a look at this today, it’s only 20 months old with light usage.
E16/ heating, all ok
E03/ pump, filter & no blockages.
Told her to do a high temp wash in case of sludge in pressure chamber(in tank).
She’s just text to say stopped half way through with E03.
Any clues anyone ??
Or shall I stick a pump on it ?

Change the heater, make sure it’s genuine one with ntc.

I did check heater for earth fault & resistance , seemed OK.
Are they suspect under load?

Yes – get it hot and then test the insulation and you will find that his dropped.

Yep almost certainly the heater. Had this problem a few times
