    Bought in February 2013. Worked well but this week started getting very noisy, heavy vibration, even walking across the floor on starting to spin.
    Had difficulty pulling it out of its enclosure and found the reason. The concrete weight has literally disintegrated! Lying under the machine in three pieces!!!
    Needless to say, out of warranty. Couldn’t contact Hoover until 4th January but have contacted RepairCare and they’ll be here on Tuesday 5th for £119.
    The repair company said they had never heard of this happening before! Wonder what Hoover have to say?

    Concrete weight breaking up is not at all uncommon.

    Well the repair company said it was the first case they’d heard of! So there!
