Hoover Dynamic cool frost free fridge freezer

Hi,

I’m having a problem with the freezer part of my fridge freezer.

Basically a couple of weeks ago the freezer door was left open by accident and when I realised i shut the door but ice had frozen around the back wall by the rivets that the draws slide onto resulting in the only way to shut the freezer door was to remove a draw.

Today i switched it off (emptied of course) so that the ice would thaw and i could put the draws back in.

However i just had a look and now only the very top draw fits in the other 3 draws stick out if they are put in (most of the ice has gone). It kind of looks like the back wall of the freezer has come forward.

Is this a thing? Any ideas would be great.

It is hard to advise without the full model number.

It is most likely still frozen behind the rear panel and the only way to fully defrost it without dismantling is to turn it off and defrost it with the doors open for 48 hours.

You may find you can the push the rear panel back into place but at the moment the ice behind the panel will prevent this.
