Hoover Dynamic Next DX C9DG noisy

We’ve had this tumble dryer for 6 years and all in all it hasn’t caused any problems. Recently it has developed a significant noise when in use under all programmes. I have recorded it and hopefully I’ll be able to attach that to this post.

I’m guessing it’s the rear bearing but haven’t yet investigated internally but thought I’d post here see if there was any other ideas that may lead me down a different path for repair.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

that sound like it may be the belt tention pulleys

does the noise stop when the drum does as noises like that can also come from the pump

give me a model and a complete serial no and i can look up the part and show you what it looks like

not an easy fit on Hoover there are real fun to fix

Something I’ve just noticed when going to get the above details is that the noise disappears when rotating anti clockwise and then reappears with a vengeance when rotating clockwise.
