    Hello, First time poster here,

I have the above washer/dryer and for some reason it stops halfway through a cycle, not on every setting, but on the long runs, and also the short spin.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Thanks.

When you say ‘stops’ is this at random points in the cycle or at a precise point every time? There are many things that can stop a machine, fill valves, heater faults, pump blockages etc.

The door latch and door interlock mechanism on this machine has always been prone to causing the machine to stop mid cycle or to fail to start at all.

When it stops you could try pressing or moving the door to see if it will start up again. If that fails then it is a case of putting the machine on a cycle, waiting until it stops, then with the correct test equipment and product knowledge going through all the possibilities.

    Jim.

It’s always at the same place that it stops.

Always halfway between settings 4-5, and sometimes halfway through the slow spin cycle(setting 12).

Will try what you said about the door on the next run.

Try puting it on a rinse, see if ALL the water drains.
These machines will not spin unless all the water drains first
