Hoover Experts Help Required! Hoover HNF 6167

Need to change Drum Paddels (Lifters) on this machine. They are fixed on with small torx screws which are off set to the sump hose hole.

Looks like a nightmare job?

Any tips or expert advice welcomed…

Thanks for that info and the link,

Never thought of checking the steam vent which like the sump gives you offset access to the paddle screw at the top of the drum. Armed with a good quality torx T10 (Bahco) and a quarter inch wiggle bar, the first paddle was off in minutes!

Would probably be a good idea for any one interested to check this job out in advance next time you scrap a Hoover.
