    I have a friend/customer with a Hoover VHD 8143 DB-80 the m/c is not starting and lights flashing. Lights flashing are stain blast, sensitive care and fast iron or xxoox on the bank off option switches. Suspect door lock but would like to be sure, can anybody help?

    Error codes for these machines are displayed not with flashing option button LED’s but with error code numbers on the display pane (e.g E01, E02 etc).

    If you care to let me have your email address I can send you some vital info on diagnostics for these beasts. 😉
