Hoover FR HNMF 3906 AT Refridgerator

Hello.

This is the story so far, i’m posting on behalf of someone else so afraid the detail maybe lacking…

They bought a hoover fridge, drink dispenser leaks, engineers are sent, parts are sent and eventually AFTER NEARLY A YEAR after phonecalls and emails they send a new one. Looks the same just apparently the newer model.

so Hoover FR HNMF 3906 AT Refridgerator arrives and guess what. drinks dispenser leaks again.

has anyone else had this problem? surely this is not an isolated incident and must be a design fault?

Since there was no reply I’m assuming that there’s been no other incidents that anyone knows about. Bumping the topic won’t get a reply if there’s nothing to reply with. 😉

you gotta be kidding, right?

yep, theres a big issue with them things leaking, and there isnt a cure, only to not put water in it (yep, thats the only way it wont leak!)

hoover have modified the nozzle 3 times now, each being worse than the last

the only hope youve got is to take the nozzle off, and stretch the spring that clamps the rubber hose (yep thats all that holds a few litres of water)
that makes it a tighter fit, and sometimes they stop, sometimes it stops it from working at all ( but at least it doesnt leak – and that came from hoover!)

I never see them Helo, nor do I want to. I have issues with Hoover/Candy or Candy/Hoover depending on what comics are running the show at the moment. 😉

thanks Helo for the honest post!

hoover/candy have now said they have a 3rd design whch works and we should be having it fitted in approx 2 weeks. so i remain hopeful… for now.
