Hoover GCC590NB-80 stopping.

[Turbo]

This Hoover condenser tumble dryer stops after five minutes, giving out 3 beeps. The start/pause button flashes and the 3 hr delay button is lit. The condenser box is clear. I think this machine is around 15 months old.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks for your comment.

I went back to this dryer on Friday and on the timed drying cycle it stopped after less than 5 mins so I took the damp towels out.
It took 5 mins to reset and then it ran fine with no damp towels, so I put the damp washing back in again and it ran ok.
So I’m baffled on this one.

Change front ntc if it’s not in the house as the ambient temp is designed for a house 5 degrees but they go faulty a lot , as do the pcbs Kai I’m ex Hoover

Would it be the exhaust ntc and is it a drum out job ??

No its a ntc on the front of machine on need to take front panel off easy job.kai

Went back to this dryer and had a thorough look for the front ntc with no luck ??

The front panel comes off and it’s in the bottom left corner with wires honing to it
