Hello all, I have a Hoover H160E. I have lost the manual. Came home and it hadn’t finished the washing. Drum still half full of water. Tried to restart it and the Superwash button flashes together with the start ‘triangle’ on the progress bar. Have opened the cover at the bootom of the machine and drained most of the water out. Is there likely to be a filter blocked? If so, where do I find it and how do I clean it? ANy help welcome. Thank you.

You’ve found it……. get all the water out, clean the filter throroughly, then check into the back of the pump chamber itself. A torch will help you to see if anything is caught in the impellor at the back.

Bear in mind also that the pumps do fail with age, and on Hoovers due to the leaks from the soap box.

    Power off, if investigating.
