Hoover H160E – door hinge replacement tips sought

Hi, after my recent success in repairing machine, would you believe it, the *!#’ing door hinge has snapped!
Replacement ordered but just wondering if there are any tips anyone has to help replacing the hinge. Looks like just a couple of torx screws holding it onto the machine – not so obvious how it’s attached to the door.

Any advice gratefully received.

undo the two torx screws on the hinge… lift upwards, and it will come off

the undo the two outside screws on the door side, split open door with a non sharp implement (facin outwards please) and ull see how it fits

Door will prise apart into inner and outer sections after top and bottommost screws are removed.

Thanks guys, prompt response indeed – are you competing?

New hinge expected in a couple of days so I’ll have a crack at it then.
Hopefully I’ll be able to report another success and maintain a full complement of fingers into the bargain!

Quick note to say thanks to all – machine now back in operation with new hinge in place (after delay due to me ordering the wrong part number.. doh!!) Still got all fingers in tact too.

Typical, in the meantime had to fix the cental heating boiler (dead thermocouple) but that’s a whole other story.

I’m sure domestic appliances have their own network and conspire amongst each other for maximum wind-up.
