Hoover H160E Selector switch ?

Can anyone advise me if the above m/c suffers from selector switch problems like the later hoover washers ?
The symptoms are : going onto the wrong programme & programme can’t be cancelled by turning to the off position.

Not much help this Al but i got caught with my pants down on one of these. Seemed like a selector fault, similar fault, same series machine. Changed selector as yes, do have selector faults but usually mechanical, and turned out to be a module fault. Symptoms were it worked on programe if i selected said program clockwise and waited for drive to catch up but wouldn’t work if I selected the same program anti-clockwise. Go figure!!!
