Hoover H3WS495TACE-80 (Ser 31010781 2113 0004) New module in Demo Mode

If anyone has any advise to offer on this, I would be very please to receive it. I fitted a replacement control module (Part No. 49123457 – programmed). Display shows on power-up and allows programme selection, gives selected programme name and time, but also says ‘Demo Mode’ before the programme details. It refuses to start, and the door doesn’t lock – no flashing key symbol on the display. Have tried Spin & Soiled buttons for 7 seconds (and more) to no avail. Have I received a faulty module or has anyone else had this issue?

Good Morning, emailed Gias tech services and they replied “The appliance is in demo mode, press and hold the spin and stain/rapid buttons at the same time for 7 seconds, this will remove it.”

Thanks Dave and Neil, Tried all known solutions today, but to no avail. Going to order another module and if that doesn’t work, it’s another perfectly good machine going to the tip. Graham

according to tech there are 3 modules fitted to this model dependant on serial

from what i can see you should have part no 49122816
