Hoover HBWM914D-80 washer beeping

Hi Guys
I have the above that beeps all of the way through a wash cycle. It is the same noise as when the start button is pressed and you can’t even set a program due to the machine starting a random program even before the start button is pressed.
Any ideas?

try starting the machine then remove the ribbon cable to the sensors

just to see if it stops beeping with the ribbon removed

Thanks Dave I’ll give that a try.
I have asked her to power it off then select a program and power back on to see it it starts the correct program.

More than likely the facia panel playing up by the sounds of it
