ParticipantHave got a problem with this machine, came in no motor action, found control PCB to be the culprit. Replaced Control PCB then had Motor action.
No find that no matter if the machine is on wash, rinse or spin it will not pump out. The machine washes, heats but just will not pump out, if you manually drain the machine down it will then spin up.There is no voltage at the pump at all and as the two green supply wires to the pump come from the module I am wondering if the new module is possibly faulty ?
Problem is the module is a special from Connect part No HVR97922736
Anyone had this before ?

Oh dear! I’ve an ‘orrible premonition that the pump has blown the TR5 Triac on the main module? Usually caused by water leaking from the transfer hose to dispenser onto the pump!!!! 😯
New board, pump and hose very possibly? 🙁

Yep, if you spot a rusty pump on one, odds on said hose is leaking. Only a matter of time before all thats left of the triac is its little leggies. 😥

Thanks fella’s I will check it out, weird thing is I had pump action BEFORE the new module was fitted, just no main motor action. When I first fitted the new board I inspected the pump area whilst the machine was filling to see if there were any leaks that had caused this motor problem in the first place as the Triac was blown but I could see no leak from the hose above the pump. Still I will have the new board back out tommorow and inspect it to confirm and relook at the hose.
If the new board is blown I will be pig sick, can these be repaired ?
Cheers

OK had a chance to look at the machine today, this model does not have the hose that leaks and the Pump is fine. The PCB does not have the particular blown Triac or any blown Triacs.
I am getting another PCB to try as the power supply for the Drain Pump is supplied directly from this. Strange !

I don’t know if it’s any help but I had one that I change the pump all ok.
Then about a week later got another call not pumping, new pump had blown pump triac sent board off to EMW for repair fitted it back wouldn’t pump, spoke to Tony at EMW was told these Hoovers with the extra two wires on timer have a digital module and he can’t fix them.
What I am trying to say is it the correct board?
