Hi, My husband has already checked its fine, no blockages.
From what i can tell the washer fills and starts cycle fine then water pumps out and then stops and lights flash.August 2, 2012 at 9:16 pm #378883helo_75

the heater gets a slight earth leak, which fools the machine into thinking its still full of water when its not, a new heater is required

just make sure its unplugged, take off the back, and its there , just above the motor,a bit to the right… its not a bad job as long as the nut is slackend and the seal is loosened off
good luck

My washer has stopped and is coming up with this error again!
I put it on drain setting to empty so hubby could have a look and it’s not draining! Any ideas?July 6, 2014 at 8:29 pm #378891Martin

Check the pump filter. See user instructions.

I had similar problem with Vision VHD8142. All programs started then stopped after wash part of cycle; with with Timer LED flashing 3 times and 1200 spin speed. This suggests drain out problem, but as others have pointed out can be heating element with earth leak sending false message to controller.
I knew the drain out was OK as you could switch off machine and start on rinse cycle which it did OK. Changed heater element (cost £23) and all works fine now. -
