Hoover HDB 854D Flashing Door Lock LED

All,

my hoover HDB 854D washer/dryer was in the rinse stage and was spinning.

The circuit breaker for the kitchen tripped!!

After restoring that washer/dryer switches on. there are no error codes
on choosing any program and hitting start, the LED for lock keeps flashing. No program will start. AND the door can be opened even after pressing go button.

Basically – the machine’s door isnt locking. it’s a 2.5 year old machine and I dont want to spend on expensive calls outs. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
Have you had any luck solving your problem? My door lock light also flashes after a circuit breaker was tripped. I was just wondering if you’ve been able to fix it or scrap it!
