1st one I’ve seen with newer heater box unit and condenser in rear or drum. Two days out of guarantee (they say) and Hoover won’t cover the guarantee :rolls: .
Heater box stats tripped out. Check condenser,(bit of fluff) and fan blades, but found no water coming in on dry. Seemingly no neutral feed to the valve. I’m presuming on this that it’s fed directly from the board (wiring to valve ok)and there are no strange anomalies on this one that could cause it. Anyone had this fault on these?

I DON’T BELIEVE IT!!!Exactly one year later (JAN 7th) and I have the same fault again from one of these. This time it’s a Candy CDB754d with no power to the dryer solenoid. Last time it was the board, this time tested the lot but getting nothing at the board when the dryer is on. Ordered a board direct from Gias which arrived resealed with packing tape after it had been opened. Noted this with the spares desk.
Changed the board still no power to the solenoid. Now not sure if it’s a returned duff board or I still haven’t cracked the fault. I thought it was just a straight 240v fom the pcb edge connector all the time it’s drying, but anyone with experience of these point me in the right direction.

    Cheers
