Just replaced the PC control board with a new one.
When the machine is switched on the LED display shows C then cycles E, b

If I power on with the alarm button pressed in the dryer just shows 0 (zero) on the display. Pressing the alarm button again starts the dryer (!?!?!)
After a few minutes the dryer enters its cool cycle then stops.

The heater works okay, checked by closing the heater control circuit (disconnected from PCB).

The motor works okay, again check by closing the motor control circuit (again while disconnected from PCB).

    Please help,

    Steve

C = configured as condenser dryer.
Eb = programme selector short circuit – dryer reverts to cooling cycle.

I suppose you need to replace the selector.

Thank you very much, I’ll check the wires and swap the selector.

I’ve disconnected the selector from the main PCB and the error still persists.

I’ve removed the selector control PCB and measured the resistor array on it an it seems to provide valid readings 40K ohms down to around 800 ohms.

Is this looking like I might have a faulty PCB again?
