Hoover HF130E Problem

Hello

I have a Hoover HF130E Washing machine. We had a power cut this afternoon seconds after i started a wash. When our power came on we just thought it would run the cycle –

An hour later and it was still in the same place, hadnt taken powder or conditioner and just seemed stuck – we rang Hoover and as advised turned off at dial and at mains for 30 mins then restarted cycle, it just keeps making this noise.

We have checked the filter and there is nothing in there but it is spinning round when we turn it to off it stops spinning, is this wrong?

It wont let me change the programme, nothing – now the start and maxi load light just keep flashing every now and then – There is no water in the machine as it didnt get that far –

I would be very very grateful of any help.
