Hoover HFI3015 Dishwasher – Not heating

I went to a Hoover HFI3015 Dishwasher last night, that was stopping after the main wash, with an error code of “P1 light flashing fast continuously” I cannot find any error codes for this machine so any help with codes much appreciated.

The customer (who is an MRI Scanner engineer, and has a clue) said it was not heating the water, and he had fitted a new heater himself. I checked the heater (which runs vertically up the back of the wash compartment) and it was fine. I checked the loom thoroughly (all OK)and removed the PCB (no signs of damage visible). I measured the resistance of the NTC/Thermistor that fits into the front of the wash bowl, and got 23.3 Kohm.

Can anyone give me guidance if that is around the correct resistance for “cold water” condition?

Also I would appreciate the error codes.

There are 3 different series of HFI3015 Mike and in order I can email you the correct ‘Test Procedure’ you need to clarify which beast you refer to?
