A bit embarrassing this. No heat was the problem but the o/load stat on the heater is fine as is the cycling stat and the heater reads through. I discovered a one shot yellow t/stat lurking behind the bottom detachable plinth and reset it with a pin through the paint dot…it now heats. Question is what caused it to click open circuit? Air flow is good so no blockages. Drum starts turning fine so capacitor is ok. Is this common on these machines? Any pointers please because it is bound to reoccur again. Machine has hardly been used. Is there a modified stat that replaces the original that avoids the problem?
