Hoover HNC175 Nextra Mega Load 7.5kg Condenser Tumble Dryer

Hi our dryer has stopped spinning.

I’ve checked the filter, condenser and water container – all ok and no warning lights are on.

There is a noise when the dryer is on but the drum doesn’t spin.

It’s been very good, more than 7 years old and pretty muck problem free until recently when it started stopping and it’s had a lot of hammer.

Any ideas for a quick fix or is it time to get a new one (any recommendations?)

When you say a noise does it sound like the motor running or is it a humming noise ?

It’s all sorted now.

I tried pushing the drum around manually and then started the dryer again and it’s worked.

I think the dryer drum was stuck on some fluff or similar and I must have dislodged it.
