Hi All,I’m not sure if anyone can help but I have a Hoover HND6515 dishwasher, and it’s developed a fault. It stops full of water after doing a pre-wash cycle and the program led on the front flashes quickly, also the machine is constantly beeping. After powering off and cancelling the program a new program can be selected and the machine will then start but only gets to the same point of a rinse cycle and then beeps and flashes. The pre rapid programme works fine, goes through wash , rinse and dry, its the main proogrammes that dont work, therefore there is no blockage , can anybody help, thanks

hi, rinse water from raid programme was cold, even though this programme is for short wash at 50 degrees

Rapid programme runs against time – the others run against temperature, therefore you have some sort of heat problem.
Element, sensors, safety cut-out, wiring and burnt out joints on the pcb are all possible faults.
Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.

I was just wondering if you managed to repair your dishwasher. I have exactly the same problem on exactly the same dishwasher. Mine stops on the normal cycle after 35 minutes but completes fine if you select the rapid wash. 😕

hi, dishwasher the same,i tried to find the element , but cant find it or any wires to one, as the element should be at the bottom somewhere, so it has foxed me. the temperature sensor i have found, but i was relying on replacing element first as it reminds me of an element in a kettle, and these do go, how long has your problem existed? i can get the dishwasher repaired by hoovers for £110, as the parts are covered by guarantee, but i think this is a lot of money when i only paid £220 for it in the first place, so it looks like it will be skipped, let me know if you ever get yours fixed, thanks

Element is in the up tube to the top rotors. Remove plastic cover at the bottpm to reveal terminals.
Power off first.

The basic information is in the posts above. Go forth and test (with the power off).

hi, the sensor is located behind the right side panel as looking from the front, you will have to remove top to get at screw to the side, also the previous person replaced the sensor and it didnt fix the problem, i suggested the element but i dont know if they replaced that as i didnt receive an answer from them, if you get it fixed, let me know what was wrong with yours, thanks

Thanks Dee, I removed the right hand panel as suggested, but can’t see any obvious ntc, picture link below if that helps you point me in the right direction.

NTC sensor is fitted to the front outside of the sump moulding.

Thanks Penguin, I removed and tested the ntc, that seemed to perform as expected at room temp and when hot. Disconnected and checked the element, 200+ohm so assuming its OK. Hands getting all chapped from washing up so I’ll probably surrender now and get a new machine. Thanks to all for the help – always interesting to take something apart.
