    Hi All,

I’m not sure if anyone can help but I have a Hoover HND6515 dishwasher, 6 months old and it’s developed a fault. It stops full of water after doing a pre-wash cycle and the program led on the front flashes quickly, also the machine is constantly beeping. After powering off and cancelling the program a new program can be selected but the machine does not start. I have manually drained the water and the machine will then start but only gets to the same point of a rinse cycle and then beeps and flashes. Before I call the repair guys (we move in less than 2 weeks and I could do without having to explain 2 different addresses!!) could anyone offer a guess at anything I can try to kick it back to life?

    Cheers in advance.

    Regards,

    Rich.

Re: Hoover HND6515 flashing lights beeping fault

Almost certainly a blockage. The first action of any programme is to drain the water, before filling and circulating. The fault is being detected at the end of the initial sequence as a “time-out drain” fault.

If you wish to sort this yourself, bail out as much water as possible and, with the power off, tip the machine back. Look for the grey drain hose coming back across the underside of the machine, where it stops you’ll find the drain pump.

Blockages may not be covered by your warranty, so have a read of the small print before sending for Hoover.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll give it a try tonight and let you know how it goes.
