The above washing machine wouldn’t drain, turned out to be prog selector sticking which I replaced, all seemed fine but after 1 wash (which it went through fine) all it does is drain? You turn the prog selector and before you even press start it starts draining?

I’ve checked the insulation as a whole & on the motor & element individually, pressure switch seems to fine. Are these just a 1 level switch (as in 1 click) I found a sock in the sump but that hasn’t changed anything?

Should I be looking main pcb or am I missing something?

    Thanks

from the sound of it the triac that controls the pump is short circuit on the pcb

simple swop if you can solder
