    Hi,
    Our Hoover HNF3157 machine has apparently died just a few minutes into a new cycle (water had already started to enter the drum). There are no error codes/lights on the machine – for all intents an purposes it would appear that the machine is totally inert except for the usual program selection noise that occurs after turning the dial. Does this kind of problem sound familiar to anyone?

    A long shot but I`d check the motor carbon brushes before doing anything else- they`re supposed to be 3/8th of an inch up to about 2″ long.
