Hoover HNF6167-80 won’t start/flashing light

Hello,

Hoover Nextra Mega Load 7.5 kg HNF6167-80

It recent pished water all over the floor. Having removed the best part of three quid and half a head of hair from the drain pump, and checked the pump hoses for security, it now refuses to start.

Unplug power. Plug machine in. Turn it onto a cycle. Press Start. Now the “30 minute left/6hr delay” LED flashes and that’s it. Indefinitely.

I’ve tried disconnecting the pipe to the level switch and blowing through it. Pipe is clear/I didn’t fill the switch with water when I tipped the machine on its side to check the pump hoses.

What does this error code mean please?

Scratch that. After a while flashing the 30 minute light it then makes a click and flashes all over the button LEDs plus the start LED.

Holding down the start button it’ll run the cycle, but stops as soon as you release the cycle.

Count the number of flashes of the Start LED. (Flashes every second then a longer pause then repeats – count the flashes between each pause for the error code number)

And now after power-cycling it just sits there with the “stop” light flashing. Regardless of how long you hold start for.

Main board finally gone senile?
