Hoover HNF6167 mega load 7.5

Hi. Iv got a Hoover HNF6167 AAA1600 auto load control 7.5kg mega load washer.

It tripped the electrics and blew a fuse. New fuse put in. It lights up the control panel, it fills with water but it doesn’t spin at all. I was told it would need a new motor, now the engineer has looked at it he says the PCB has gone as well. Just wondered if this would be worth repairing. Is it normal for the motor and PCB to go at the same time?

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Yes, but if it is under five years old then Hoover will do the repair for labour only AFAIK.
