ParticipantHave one of these with no pump action. Put a new board in and it worked for approx. 10 washes and now doing the same thing…. Help!! What can cause the Pump circuit on this one to go Faulty, causing the Board to go? Chris

Small condensation leak from tub runs round and drips DIRECTLY on the pump coil – fantastic design. Firstly, change PCB. Then before using it, change pump and cover with a plastic shield. It was mooted a while back that the Gias engineers used to put a line of silicone on the side of the tub to draw the water away to the back of the machine to stop recurrence.
It will have blown triac No 5 on the board and if you are lucky you may be able to salvage a triac off the old PCB and swap it out. If unlucky….new PCB.HTH,
Steve.
P.S. This should be posted in Tech Enquiries – keeps it all neat and easier to find in future. 😉

also glue in the dispenser to tub hose, which enters the tub directly under dispenser, you will probably find it fits very loose because of tub movement over time.

Worth checking/changing the connector to the pump as well. This connector often burns across the terminals.

I went to one of these with no pump action too. Also, no water intake. Pump itself checks out, and wiring to it. Valve solenoids good too. The obvious thing to go for is the module(41021514). Not too expensive, but Connect and Masterpart show it as unprogrammed. What is involved in programming it?

Get Connect to do a PNE for a programmed one…… 😉
