Hoover hnf7148 constant pump

I have a strange hoover w/machine fault. Machine was completley dead, checked everything, changed module seemed ok worked a treat on spin. Put the machine on wash and the pump kicks in, fills for aprox 2 seconds then sits constantly with the pump running. Reset the program and it still pumps. Turn the machine off and back on, still pumps. Turn it off at the mains and back on machine completley resets. Tested everything with a mega, nothing down to earth. Thermistor reads 28.

Faulty new module??

Long shot perhaps, but one of my favourite odd faults in this situation, short circuit through one of valve coils. Yes it happens occasionally and if it’s in series with pump which it sometimes is…….
