Hoover HNL 2136-80 drum bearing change

Can anybody tell me if a drum bearing and seal change on this machine is an ‘out through the top’ job please? Also any suggestions for other parts to have on hand just in case?

it is i am afraid
take off motor and 2 x concrete weights
you won`t know if anything else is damaged till you strip it down i`m afraid

if its less than 5 years old get hoover to fix it under their 5 year parts guarantee, it wil save yiu a lot of hassle, you only have to pay the callout charge.
