Participantmay not be exactly midway as there is no way to tell where it is in the cycle.
The door lock remains on and the start and delay start lights flash.
Only way out is to switch of & back on & restart programme – machine then completes wash.
problem is intermittent at the moment.
Any thoughts / advice would be appreciated (my guess at any replies would be “electronic board” 🙂 but confirmation would be good)
thanks

Any pattern to the flashing? ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat.

chief engineer says the start & delay start lights flash alternately – I will wait until it does it again & observe further
NEW – CE says the pump has stopped pumping now – could be the pump?

Participanttheres a very good chance there is an obstruction in the pump/pipework, yes

cleaned the filter – I can check the pump if someone can give me a clue as to where it is – i.e. which panel to remove?

well, well, well – disconnecting the inlet pipe to the pump revealed a small ziploc bag lodged in the pump entry pipe!
Of course, chief engineer blames me, cheek! – however I am renowned for leaving various motorcycle parts in my jeans and the bag does resemble one that would hold such parts (the parts were not in it!)
Running a cycle to see if that was the problem but I’ll bet it was. As usual thanks for all the help, you guys came up trumps again!
