No blockages in pressure system and cant see chafed pressure hose. Are the pressure switches unreliable because it seems to stop filling if i blow manually into pressure switch. ie do switches go out of calibration on these models?
Just a thought………have you taken the hose off & blown through it whilst in a bowl of water, It won’t find the fault but it will give you rosey cheeks!
No only kidding! …..I just thought that maybe if there is a pinprick hole in the hose, you would activate the switch by blowing through hose but the air pressure from water rising wouldn’t be sufficient……If that makes sense?
No but after leaving the water in drum for 5 mins watching pressure vessel saw no rise in level but when hose removed air shot out and water too. Wonder if switch has been clouted by the drum.
Yes, but have you actually taken the hose off and looked? Better still …replaced it? As that sounds like it’s the problem to me rather that the Pressure switch. 😉
Pressure switch replaced now all ok. Tested fill over and over again. Opened and found changeover spring inside looks to have got hot.
Would have said it would be hose as well. Odd.
