Hoover HNL6136S no spin

Machine will fill, wash, drain and rotate on drain perfectly but after a couple of minutes set to a spin programme it cuts out totally and does not ramp up to distribute or spin.

Motor fine, pressure chamber and hoses clear, pressure switch appears to be functioning correctly.

Any other suggestions gratefully accepted. 🙂

Does it spin when it goes through a normal cycle or is it just no spin when you try a spin cycle on its own?

No spin at all AFAIK Tim, she also said it seemed to be taking longer to complete but she may have just imagined that.

Well the obvious one of the spin speed selector being set to the ‘no spin’ 12 oclock position is a favourite with my customers.

And extended time of programmes is generally down to OC heater.

Have you seen it no spin? Or is it just reported?

Did check the spin speed selector. Sat and watched it go through rinse & spin. On spin it reverse tumbles for about 2 minutes then shuts down, no flashing lights either.

Had similar model, was o/c heater. Never would have guessed. Found it somewhere on here. Think it was Penguin pointed it out, or maybe helo.
