Hoover HNL8146-80

Going to this on Monday, lady say’s machine not going into spin but does wash ok.
When building up to spin the time to end and on/off light cut out for a second then start up again and machine attempts another go at spin.

Don’t do many Hoovers round here but looking at other posts could this be the tacho?. Connect don’t show very many parts for this model.

test for resistance thro the tacho…..possibly an open winding on the motor??
