Hoover HNMF2605AL-80

    I have a friend who has a Hoover HNMF2605AL-80 it is freezing all the time i tried a pcb that i had but it is still freezing ,so i suspect it is the thermistor that is faulty, Connect show the thermistor but also advises it is foamed does anybody know how to go about replacing it cheers JJ.

    Thanks Chris is it okay to butt connect rather than solder the thermistor connections, or do they reckon you get a better electrical conection soldering.JJ

    The first couple i did i followed the instructions to the letter soldring the connections. Found this a bit fiddly and had trouble with heat from solder iron shrinking heat shrink sheath. Started using butt connectors and wider sheath to cover them ( think this is important as moisture may give wrong resistant readings). Had no problems.
