Hoover HNWL6136-80 N: 310008970687965 door handle/latch

Good evening all,

Could some kind person possibly send me a photograph of the fitted position of the door latch spring for the above m/c?

I have inherited one from someone who has attempted to renew their own broken door handle… and the assembly is in bits.

I have tried re-assembling with a new door handle kit,(plastic handle, spring, roll pin & latch) though cannot for the life of me obtain spring tension!

I dont have a pic mate but I think this one uses the outer door frame for the spring to push against, so until its back in one piece you wont get any tension.

Yes, the spring ends locate in the outer frame as you rightly say.

Now spring tension achieved, all well.
