I reset the L/H heater TOC and tested. I got some heat but it only used 4.9 amps. I took the wires off both elements and they were both closed circuit. Is 4.9 amps correct ? All help appreciated. That’s about what I would expect as washer driers are condeser driers and only use low wattage as they recirculate air.. Sorry but I didn’t open up the dryer housing, so I can’t tell you. February 28, 2007 at 6:56 pm #205884 timdowningParticipant Re: Hoover HNWL6136S : low dryer heat? Side issue, did you check for blockages in condenser ducting and blower motor? if these are blocked the TOC will trip again due to poor air flow. On high heat tumble dryer with fan, valve, heaters and pump running you should have a reading of 6.04amps (low heat = 3.80amps) Check your email….. 😉 February 28, 2007 at 8:48 pm #205886 trustedParticipant Re: Hoover HNWL6136S : low dryer heat? That will help me if I get a recall. Author Posts Viewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic. Log In Username: Password: Keep me signed in Log In
