ParticipantMachine will start any given programme and run for approximately 20 seconds. After this, the delay start button lamp and start arrow on display flash together. The machine can be set to off and re-select, the same thing happens. All components appear to check out. Any ideas chaps?

Just like the indesit m/c’s, you have to count the flashes within each 15 second period to give the error code. The start and the pause LED’s will flash together at 1Hz (i.e 1 flash per second) within that 15 second time frame, then will continue and show again within another 15secs and so on.
Hoover (Nextra series) error codes : –
1 Flash = Interlock fault
2 Flashes = Fill time-out
3 flashes = Drain time-out
4 flashes = Overfill fault
5 flashes = NTC error
6 flashes = faulty control board
7 flashes = Motor jammed
8 flashes = Tacho fault
9 flashes = Motor triac on module board
10 flashes = Prog Selector or wiring fault
14 flashes = Faulty wiring or control moduleHope that helps?
(Perhaps this info should be copy & pasted elsewhere as well methinks? – DONE!!! 😉 )

In that case Chris I would think it’s best to fire up the ‘Auto Test Routine” as shown on the GIAS PDF sheet. 😉
The list of error codes given are the only ones known by them at this time, or to officially quote GIAS :-

They clearly are as much in the dark when it comes to flashing lights? :dark: :snigger:
