hoover hnwl7146 washer dryer

when the dryer is set on a time setting the display lights show the correct time, ie. set it to 60 mins it shows 60 mins.
however after about 5 mins the light goes to30 mins then after another 5 mins it switches off.
any ideas?

are you setting dryer to a time or does machine have an auto sense and defaults to 60 mins on start up and reduces when no moisture detected

tried it both on timed setting and sensor drying and it is the same on both.
