HNWL3136? This is worth a read:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ge&pid=155Your particular machine would be a tank out job; at least 2.5 hours work for a professional. Once it’s all apart, 20 minutes with a big hammer and a drift sorts it.
Diagrams and pictures essential for re-assembly.
Hoover only list the tub assembly as the replacement, generic bearing kits are available though, so drop a line to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for pricing and availability.

sounds like a job best avoided, have had loads of trouble with it, the most common being the black rubber elbow that connects the drum to the condenser clogging up with fluff, new solenoid valve two weeks ago, thermal cut out tripping out. i think it is time to give up with i.
Can anybody recommend a washer drier, i know it is not the best thing to have but we have two very young kids, loads of washing and no room for a dryer. we cannot afford a Miele but is there another machine that is good with a 5 year warranty?October 27, 2007 at 8:37 pm #232374Penguin45

Seimens/Bosch and Zanussi both do machines where the dryer section works reasonably well, although they will inevitabley fluff up in the end and need stripping and cleaning.
Some of the Seimens machines come with a 5 year warranty, Bosch have 2 years. UKWhitegoods offers a very reasonable extended warranty programme if required. Drop a line to admin@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for info, ‘cos I can’t find the link!
