Hoover HP6 120M won’t start.

I fitted new motor brushes to this machine a couple of weeks ago, all seemed well at the time.

Now it won’t start any programme, set it to wash, rinse or spin and the drain pump kicks in for a split second then cuts out. If you switch it on and off it will keep doing this. ❓

This pump has a built in overload so tried a different pump but that did the same.

Also tried a selector switch to no avail.

Any pointers or is my guess of a PCB problem the likeliest scenario?

I would tend to agree. Whip it out and give the surface components a viual check especially the triacs.:wink:
