hoover hpe236 w/m dead

    hi all, did not have much time but called to look at above machine yesterday,power going to machine but no lights. are thse prone to door interlock failure and if so how does the interlock come off as could not see any screws.have to call back on monday will have more time to check things out.i did check the mains filter though ,regards tedd

    Hmm. Wonder if this is Chinese? Only part available on Connect is soap hose. Think lock may be snap fit. You may need to push a plastic lug or two in where screws would have been.
    Has it got one of those nice cheap selector switches? Look at that first after lock. But my gut feeling is mysterious pcb failure. Probably be cheapish though, but risky still.

    Door Interlock (91201208) failure every time. Push white plastic lugs in whilst pulling it towards the left. 😉
