Hoover HSW110m

    My Hoover HSW110m washer/dryer has stoped fast spinning with a load in but will when empty. any ideas????

    Either you’re trying to spin an out of balance load or the motor brushes are worn and playing up?

    I had the same problem on my hoover washer dryer, the same as yours it took the repairman two weeks to find the problem, he replaced, the timer, the bearings, the module, the armature the motor, the belt, the brushes. after replacing all of these the fault still occured, the repairer tried on the off chance giving a quick blow down the drain pipe, it cleared the pressure switches or whatever theyre called and it was back to normal.

    Anyway the problem ahs never occured since one year on touch wood 😀

    Just thought i’d have a quick input

    The Repairman was sent under Domestic and General insurers, should he not have blown down the drain hose ?
