ParticipantI’m nearly sure the switch is at fault here [you might tell me different], m/c occasionally overfills,so after blowing out the water from the pressure hose, check for holes & refitting it all goes well for a few weeks! So I’ve decided to change pressure switch & hose [to be on the safe side], all other hoses are clean & dandy,I just need the part #s of the switch & hose please!
Are these switches on these m/c prone to faults, I can count on one hand the number of press/sw I’ve changed over the years! Also these look like real prats to change due to there location ,any tips?

Never had to change a pressure switch on this range. Normally pin hole in pressure tube, which i know you have checked. Have had new machines where the pressure switch isn’t clicked together properly. A ty-wrap around the switch does the trick. (take door seal off front lip and tip back machine, this should give you better access.)

I have had several Hoover/Candy machines with a pin hole in the pressure hose. It’s where the hose passes through behind the dispenser.
I find the only safe way to check for leaks on pressure hoses is to disconnect the hose on both ends, block one end and suck on the other. [make sure you suck on the pressure switch end as it will be much cleaner]. Create a vacuum and hold your tongue on the end of the pipe. Your mouth will be able to detect a reduction in the vacuum but is less likely to detect a drop in pressure if you try to find the leak by blowing.

Thanx chaps ,I liked the oral method Bob 😆 . Reason I’m changing the switch is ,it’s had some water in it [yes it filled that high, funny how customers just stare at the thing with water pouring out the dispencer].
Once again ,thanx lads..Chris.. -
