    Hoover HSWD166-80
Motor plug burnt out, have cut off the end of the motor plug with the burnt bit, three wires red, green & blue and refitted them singly
I know that the red wire is the end one, only not sure which way the other two go have wired it as below
    1 red
    2 green burnt off
    3 blue burnt off
    4 blue
    5 Red
    6 Green
    7 Yellow

The machine will now only fast spin even if it is on wash

    Thanks Bernie

Thanks for the wiring diagram Martin. I have wired it correctly.

Do you think that the module/PCB will need changing as it spins on wash?

Ditto on Dave’s comment. It could be that being as the motor plug burnt out (not sure why but no matter) then it may well have blown the motor control triac on the board. If you look carefully at the surface components on the PCB I think the motor triac is marked ‘TR1

Trust you have checked area for signs of a leak – I had one not so long had burnt out due to leak from cracked drum (coin damage about half way up – leaking but only about a tablespoon full per wash but sraight onto motor connector block)

On this range of washer dryers its common to get a leak from the blower motor / fan duct. It perfectly runs down the back of the tub into the motor block.
