Hoover Interact AAA140 “Error 3”

Hi

went to one of these the other day, came up intermittently with error 3 😮 . I couldnt get it to reproduce the fault.

What could this be?

Error 3 or E3 as it should be displayed is not draining quickly enough (3 minute time out).

Probably an intermittent pump, or partially blocked waste somewhere ?

Amazing what you find when you look hard enough 😉 New Hoover error codes will be in the “known error code” thread shortly 😀

nah it was all clear, drain ect ect

was there for 2 hours..

I would change the pump then, it’s almost certainly a magnetic type and we all know how annoyingly unrealiable/intermitent these are.

Universal askol/plaset should do the trick.

Good advice ! 🙂 As far as I recall these ‘Candy’ machines have 2 pumps 😕 The front one with the filter/strainer attached being the ‘wash’ pump and the rear being the ‘drain’ pump.

I often get ‘have a go’ customers saying they have “checked the filter and its all clear!” without realising there’s another pump behind that’s at fault 😉
