ParticipantHi all,
The above dryer only works when the power button is held in. I have had a look on t’internet and it looks like it could be the switch or the relay PCB. When you hold the button in it always works and occassionally buzzes.
Is there an easy way to tell which part it is before I buy the wrong one?
Many thanks

Cheers Washman and Penguin.
I was led to belive it is this part. http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Tumble+Dryer+Parts/Hoover/Relays/91201247+-+Hoover+{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}252526+Candy+Tumble+Dryer+Relay+PCB{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}25252FModule.html
Could you confirm it is this part as the TC50 isn’t listed on ukwhitegoods but is on all other spares sites. I would rather buy from here.
Thanks again.

Hmm – could be either depending on manufacturing date. Top off and have a look inside the control panel to see which one is fitted.

I hope its ok to drag this up.
I had a look at the dryer this weekend and it is the older part I need.
I also thought I would see how it comes out. Do I need to take the whole front off and if so how?
I slid back the top, removed the front plastic panel expecting access from there but it appears I need to remove the front to gain access to the PCB. Having removed the top and bottom screws holding the front on it appeared to be held about 2/3rds of the way down.
What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks

Undo all the screws around the door opening.
